Long term intentions

Manage the young trees in order to develop mature broadleaved high forest, dominated by ash. Remove guards when necessary and consider thinning to release the best individuals in 2025. Mow centres of permissive and public paths annually. Cut areas of open ground annually in late summer leaving 10% for invertebrates and small mammals. Maintain the pond in order to avoid excessive shading and vegetation growth.
