Long term intentions

Establish a new native woodland with a diverse shrub understorey, enhanced by the spread into the new woodland of typical woodland flowers from the existing hedgebanks. Retain open areas in the valley bottom for a diversity of habitat and internal landscape. Maintain the network of paths for public access. The developing woodland in conjunction with the retained meadows will provide diverse landscapes for enjoyment both by visitors to the site and by passers by on the adjacent road.
